π Ship Classes
There are six classes of ships in the game, unlocking progressively as you advance:
- Fighter β Fast and agile; perfect for early strikes and hit-and-run tactics.
- Corvette β Light support and scouting vessels; good for reconnaissance and harassment.
- Frigate β Balanced ships; solid all-rounders for any fleet composition.
- Destroyer β Heavy frontline craft; powerful weapons make them excellent at breaking enemy lines.
- Cruiser β Large warships that dominate lower-tier fleets; strong and versatile.
- Capital β Massive fleet command vessels; extremely powerful and devastating in combat.
π° Ship Cost and Upkeep
- Cost: One-time resource investment to build a ship.
- Upkeep: Cost per TU to maintain your ships in your fleet.
- β οΈ Important: If you run out of resources or fall below 20% of fleet upkeep, some ships will disband automatically.
βοΈ Combat Power (CP)
Ships have a Combat Power (CP) value, which measures the strength of your fleet.
- Fleet Crafting Efficiency: You can craft up to 50 CP per TU spent.
- Example: Building 3 ships of 15 CP each only costs 1 TU.
- Attack Range: You can only attack empires whose CP is within a certain range of your total CP.
π‘ Tip: Always balance your fleetβs upkeep with production to avoid losing ships.
𧬠Race-Specific Ships
Each race has unique ships. You can only build ships assigned to your chosen race, so pick wisely based on strategy and playstyle.
