🛡️ How Combat Works
- Combat occurs between fleets (groups of ships owned by different empires).
- Both sides attack simultaneously during each combat phase.
- Ships attack in class order: Fighter → Corvette → Frigate → Destroyer → Cruiser → Capital.
⚙️ Combat Phases
- Direct Class Attack: Ships first target enemy ships of the same class.
- Random Class Attack: Surviving ships redirect fire to random enemy classes.
- Damage Calculation: Each ship has:
- A damage type (Kinetic, Lazor, Explosive, Corrosive, Plasma).
- Resistances to all damage types, reducing incoming damage accordingly.
- Attacks are applied simultaneously for both sides, factoring in resistances.
🛡️ Shields
- If a player has defended 3+ times in 24 hours, their empire gains a shield and cannot be attacked.
- Shields reset for attackers if they have also been shielded multiple times.
🏆 Battle Outcome
- Winner Determination: Based on total combat power lost during the fight.
- Looting: The attacker can steal up to 10% of the defender’s Crystals, capped at 25,000.
- Influence: The winner gains influence equal to the combined power rating of both fleets.
- Draw: If both fleets are destroyed or equally matched, no influence or loot is gained.
